That was half term then!

It didn't get off to the best start, this half term . Luke was poorly and had a temperature. He was most upset to miss a birthday party on the Friday evening. I was convinced he was going down with Chicken pox. Luckily for him it wasn't chicken pox, but he was decidedly off colour for a couple of days. The brother of the birthday girl went down with Chicken pox a couple of days after the party so I fear Luke's days are numbered!!

I succumbed to the cold that I have been harboring for a few weeks now. It has been a real humdinger and I have felt really miserable.

We did manage a few days out. We spent a great afternoon with some friends at the Forest of Bere. The kids climbed tree's , balanced on logs and generally got very muddy.

A half term wouldn't be complete without a trip to the Cinema with Auntie Emlim! We went to see Bolt and I have to say I quite enjoyed it ( despite falling asleep at one point, much to Benjamin's amusement.

I haven't started the snapshot of my life layout yet. I didn't get many photo's taken last week, but will endeavour to catch up this week.

We went to Itchen Valley Country park yesterday. I am almost embarrassed to admit that despite only living  "down the road" we have never been there before. There was a special Froggy  hunt in the woods. So off we went armed with our quiz sheets and pencil to find the answers to the questions
