Back to School

Benjamin and Luke went back to school today. They have been off since wednesday 6th Of Jan. At first it was all very exciting , especially for Ben to have a free days holiday on his birthday, but it has begun to wear a bit thin

Dad was admitted to hospital on Friday with a suspected Pulmonary embolism, and is still in QA hospital. His Consultant thinks that his breathing problems are caused by damage to his lungs from the Chemotherapy, hopefully he will have a scan to rule out a PE soon and be back home. Mum stayed at our house last night, Luke thought it was funny that Mumma had a sleepover at our house, but it isn't nice for her to go back to a half packed an empty house. Hopefully we will get some news about their house-move soon too. It would be nice to get that all sorted out and get them in their new home and settled, one less thing for everyone to worry about

THe drive to school was ok, but the car park at the Community Centre was a little treacherous and there is always some eejet who drives too quickly and scares the rest of us to death.

We are keeping everything crossed that the snow that we are forecast this evening doesn't arrive, we could really do with a thaw now
